Pattern Adhesives Make It All Possible Ward/Kraft's proprietary label making equipment allows adhesive to be placed in only the area needed. This allows the packing slip and the shipping label to be applied automatically and held in place until time to be removed by the recipient. The combination of pattern adhesive and perforations allow the shipping label and the packing slip to be removed without exposing any of the adhesive areas. Top Apply is a little more difficult with varying height cartons, as the applicating arm needs to get out of the way very fast.
