Ward/Kraft had a unique way of promoting the networking theme of the DMIA Print Solutions show. They sponsored a drawing in their WK Coffee Blog booth and selected six winners. If the winner was a DMIA member they received free registration to the 2007 Spring Retreat meeting. If the winner was a non-DMIA member, Ward/Kraft paid for their first year's due. Ward/Kraft will be closed on Monday, Dec 25th, Tuesday, Dec 26th and Monday, January 1st.

WK Commercial

WK ShortRun and Creative Technology Center have come together to create Ward/Kraft's newest division, WK Commercial! WK Commercial houses a Karat 74, Indigo 3050 and a Ryobi 3404 DI capable of printing all your color needs. The division will offer several benefits including a variety of substrates, photo quality up to 2540 DPI, quick turn-arounds, and quantities from 1 on up. Offline bindery equipment has been added to support new product lines such as presentation folders, posters, multiple panel brochures and postcards. WK Commercial will continue to produce short run checks and forms as well.

Die Cut Indigo Labels

Announcing the addition of yet another great product to Ward/Kraft's offering. We now offer pre-die cut labels printed on our full color digital offset press. Seven different designs with both round and square labels are available to support a variety of needs. Utilizing the pre-die cut labels will provide a more cost effective solution when looking for a short run 4 color process label. Photo quality print with the short run capabilities will open up doors for our distributors in a variety of markets including distribution, retail, manufacturing, education, direct mail, etc. Once of the greatest benefits of printing four color process labels on our Indigo is the ability to variable print in-line. Pre-addressed charity labels and custom short run package labels are just a couple of products that will benefit from this addition. As Ward/Kraft continues to grow in the digital printing market we will continue to offer more unique products that support our customers and their customers needs as well.

Another Ward/Kraft Sales Member Hits the Big 50

Ward/Kraft, Inc. presented Lisa Butler, Ohio Sales Representative, with an engraved airplane for presenting at over 50 WK On Site seminars. Butler is a 24 year member of Ward/Kraft and the printing industry. Presenting the award is Brian Webb, Ohio Sales Manager. Also shown is Katie Frazier, CSR, who has recently joined the On Site Presenter team.

WK On Site is a 90 minute seminar presented each week at several locations around the country. The distributor oriented session offers education on products, markets, applications and new technologies. Presenters are members of Ward/Kraft's sales team as well as plant personnel who have been trained to present the information. Awards are given for presenters who have given 50, 100, and 250 seminars. Ward/Kraft has nine presenters who have reached the 50 site mark and seven who have presented in over 100 locations.
