Why Distributors Buy From Ward/Kraft

Our CSR's and Sales Representatives receive calls and letters daily from our distributors throughout the nation expressing their happiness with Ward/Kraft's unparalleled service, relationships, products, features, and solutions. Below you will find a letter answering "Why buy from Ward/Kraft?"

-Michael Del Chiaro, Senior Vice President

Dear Ward/Kraft,

CompuForms, Inc. has worked with Ward/Kraft on and off for many years. In the past month or so we have had the opportunity to partner with a huge, international corporation to produce their 30 mil. "Gift Cards" for hundreds and then probably thousands of their software users. My dilemma has been to find a manufacturer and an inside service representative who would be patient enough and helpful enough to cater to my customer, help me answer their many questions, and provide several test runs. Most of the factories we work with would most likely have become tired of this process, giving themselves and CompuForms a much less likely chance of "landing this very large account".

I cannot begin to express how wonderful Jennifer Kline has been to work with. She has answered my questions promptly, has explained technical areas my customer wanted further details on, and has provided creative ideas which have helped increase the trust our customer has gained as we have gone through this process. Jennifer went far and beyond what a normal factory rep. would be willing to do. I work the same way and believe this is how these very large accounts are landed. We are heading toward the conclusion of the tests, and when my customer goes live, they will have an almost endless supply of orders, which should be a large sales increase for Ward/Kraft and CompuForms.

I am so impressed with Jennifer and her very positive representation of Ward/Kraft, that I would not call another person or factory for cards. We already produce a number of plastic cards for other customers and have been using one of your competitors. I am going to instruct my staff not to even call your competitor. Your prices are competitive, your product is high quality, and most important we have a real professional to work with at Ward/Kraft. It is a pity that most factory representatives do not even give 50% of the service and effort Jennifer does. She is the best I have worked with in 22 years and I hope Ward/Kraft knows and rewards the tremendous asset Jennifer Kline is to your company's success. I think it can all be condensed in one phrase: "She is very, very good at what she does, and she obviously REALLY CARES!"

Most Sincerely,

Karen Kelly
CompuForms

WK Consolidates Production Units for Efficiency

Ward/Kraft has announced a major move to improve customer care and efficiencies. Internal studies have shown capacity within the multiple production units in Kansas can absorb the Ohio volume improving overall production efficiencies without affecting customer delivery demands. Production volume within the Ohio facility will be transferred to the Kansas operations over the coming months. A majority of Ward/Kraft's work has always been produced and shipped nationally out of Fort Scott, KS. Most new product development, such as the new patented photo quality prime labels, has originated from the company headquarters.

"We anticipate the transition to be seamless to our customers", says Michael Del Chiaro, Senior Vice President. "During this transition period, Ward/Kraft will honor the same freight rates and pricing as orders are moved from the Ohio operation to the main production facilities. This is a strategic move, based on customer input, to consolidate production processes and control costs as we move into even more new products and services."

The current sales and customer service staff will continue operation in the Ohio facility to maintain close contact with customers. All business forms, labels, plastic products, as well as imaging services will now be produced for nationwide distribution from a central location. Ward/Kraft's On Site programs, educational webinars, and customer service performed by the Ohio staff will continue from the Ohio location.

New High Security Laminate Available from Ward/Kraft!

Requests for higher levels of security in integrated cards and other products were the key drivers for Ward/Kraft's development of a new Taggant lamination. The laminate can be applied to the face of the document then die cut to create the integrated card. To authenticate the card, the face is exposed to a laser IR beam from a pen device. The resulting coded reaction will tell the viewer if the card is an original. Various types of IR units are available from the pen version to a desktop scanner.
