Ward/Kraft is now producing 40" printed roll products for high volume laser and ink jet printing. This includes our pressure seal product line. Many large mailers and imaging shops use these printers and can become new clients for your company. Our rolls are tightly wound then wrapped in a protective material to guard against damage. These are then banded to transport skids for shipping and the skid is wrapped against moisture and dust. All rolls are chucked to prevent shifting during shipment. Roll Pressure Seal has been a strong product for directs, and distributors should not overlook them. Many of these are very large runs so it is always a good idea to run test runs. Digital printers running transactional document such as statements, subscription renewals, recall notices or rebate checks are just a few of the potentials. Large direct mail houses are also good candidates. As always with pressure seal products your best target will be those companies printing a single sheet and stuffing that into an envelope. West will remain involved with many customers and vendors on a consultative basis and will continue working on current special projects. Mike and his wife Tonia have purchased a small specialty printing company in Oklahoma and have relocated. West has held a variety of positions at Ward/Kraft, beginning as Production Supervisor of the company's Ohio Label plant and steadily advanced to his current position over the course of his 18 year career.
